The gradient of a line relates to how steep the line is. This is always our starting point when asked to find the equation of a line.

The y-intercept is the point in which a line crosses the y axis. We use a pair of co-ordinates and our solving skills to determine this.

We will now link together the previous two skills to find the full equation of a line. Our answer should always be in the form y = mx + c.

Parallel lines will always have the same gradient but they will have a different y intercept.

Perpendicular lines are lines that cross at right angles to eachother. We will use all of our previous line skills and now introduce something called a "negative reciprocal".

This video will describe what the equation of a circle will look like and how we can use this.

When asked to plot graphs we usually use a table of values. This determines various coordinates that we can join up with a ruler or a smooth curve.

Here we will practice how to find a region on a graph that satisfies multiple inequalities. We need to take particular care when deciding whether to use a dotted or a solid line!
