Pythagoras is used when we are finding the lengths in right angled triangles. In this first video we will work out how we find the longest side of the triangle which is called the hypotenuse.
Trigonometry questions will look very similar to pythagoras questions except this time we will be using an angle. Here we will use the SOH-CAH-TOA acronym to help us remember the rules.
Here we will learn how to find a missing angle in a right angled triangle. We will still use SOH-CAH-TOA however there will be one extra step added in.
The following worksheet will revisit all of the skills you have practiced throughout this block. This is a good chance to see where your trigonometry is at and to get feedback on what may be worth recapping! Try and answer each question to the best of your ability, and if you need reminding you can watch the videos above. Good luck!
